Measure the distance from the floor to the point where the blind will be installed. This measurement is used to adjust the length of the bead chain or cord so that it complies with child safety requirements. The chain or cord must end at least 150 cm above the floor. Please note: this is the installation height, not the height of the blind. If you select “Unknown”, the product will be supplied with a standard chain or cord drop of 100 cm.

Custom-made Roman blind in a soft sand tone. The fabric is smooth and pliable, providing a room-darkening effect that reduces light penetration. The Roman blind is B1 certified (flame retardant) according to DIN 4102-1 for increased fire safety. Delivered complete for wall, ceiling, or window recess mounting. Easily adjusted with a cord. Height 160 cm.

How to measure

Installation in a recess
When installing in a recess, measure the recess at a minimum of 3 points (top, middle, and bottom). Subtract 5 millimeters from the smallest measurement. This is to ensure that the Roman blind fits in the recess and to prevent the fabric from rubbing against the walls and wearing out.

Wall installation
If you are installing on the wall outside the window, you can either measure so that the Roman blind aligns with the window frames or allow the Roman blind to extend a bit onto the wall.

Roller blinds, Roman blinds, and other sun blinds that are adjusted with a chain or cord can pose a risk if they are within reach of small children. For your peace of mind, the roller blind is delivered with a safety device for the bead chain. It helps to keep the chain out of reach of small children. We recommend that you always install the safety device according to the included instructions for a safe home environment.
