Sun protection in inward-opening windows
For inward-opening windows, we recommend the Multifix roller blind – a screw-free sun protection system that clips directly onto the window frame. Since it is mounted on the window itself, the roller blind moves with the window when you open and close it, making it both smooth and practical for everyday use.
Both in standard sizes and custom-made
Multifix roller blinds in white or black blackout fabric are available in standard sizes. They can also be ordered in custom sizes in several fabric options.
No screws needed
Easy to install – clamps onto the window frame. No unnecessary screw holes!
Wide selection of fabrics
Hasta Multifix roller blinds can be manufactured in almost all of our fabrics from our roller blind collection. Everything from light filtering, Day&Night and screen to complete blackout.
If your window opens inwards and you install a sunshade in front of it, there's a risk that the sunshade will get in the way, meaning the window will hit it when you open it. With Multifix, you avoid that problem – because it moves with the window when you open and close it.
Frequently asked questions about Multifix roller blind
Does Multifix also work on outward-opening windows?
The roller blind comes with brackets that are also suitable for outward-opening windows. These are made of metal and must be nailed into the window frame – this means that for the Multifix roller blind to be suitable for windows that open outwards, the window frame must be made of wood.
Which fabrics can I choose for Multifix?
Multifix roller blinds can be made from almost all fabrics in our roller blind collection.
Please note, however, that when choosing a Screen fabric, the roller blind can only be made in a height of 140 cm, instead of 160 cm.
If you would like a Multifix roller blind in a fabric other than those currently available to order via the website – please contact us and we will help you!
How do I measure for Multifix?
Here is a drawing.
When measuring for your roller blind order, consider the window handle to ensure the fabric fits inside it. The measurement you provide refers to the roller blind's total width, including brackets. Therefore, you should measure from bracket to bracket. The fabric itself is approximately 3.1 cm narrower than the total width.
Does Multifix fit all window frames?
The window frame should be a maximum of 2 cm deep for the clamp-on brackets to work. If you have a deeper wooden window frame, you can still have a Multifix roller blind as metal brackets are also included which can be nailed into the top of the window frame regardless of its depth.
